Training for net+
Hi,Would I be be able to do the exam with just reading material and real life work situation, or would a training course of some description be advisable? Cheers,Marc

SharkDiver Member Posts: 844You used to be able to pass the exam by reading the book, but now they added some kind of simulator questions. I would think if you studied and knew the material well, the sims would be easy as well.
I would certainly suggest some practice questions. Boson and Transcender are the ones I have used. -
Darril Member Posts: 1,588It depends on your level of knowledge and experience on what is advisable, but it is entirely possible to take and pass the Network+ exam without taking a training course. As SharkDiver mentions, there are new questions which CompTIA calls performance based questions. However, if you understand the material covered by the objectives and you have some experience on a network (even a home network), you can pass.
