Network+
Just passed Sec+ How ready am I for Network+?
movingzachb
I know a lot of the material is the same. I think however that the Network+ might have more material to cover on sub-netting or other things of the like that were not on Sec+. Any suggestions? I was thinking I should try to knock it out while it is still fresh in my head.

I agree and think if you plan on going for the Net+ now would be a great time to, while the material is fresh.
Whereas a lot of the material present on the Sec+ is on the net+, the overall material is very diff. But going thru the sec+ material first will make certain parts of the Net+ easy.
The best way to gauge just how much the overlap is is to get a copy of the objectives of the 2 and compare them for yourself.

Congratulations on the pass!!!
The Sec+ was a little harder than the Net+. It really didn't cover alot of the same material.
If you can do the Sec+ though, you should be able to fly through the Net+
Good luck on whatever you choose.

Congrats on the pass! I passed my 70-686 today! Couldn't agree more with DoubleNNs do it while its fresh on your mind. I am gonna do the Sec+ for the CE credit when my certs start to expire. Good luck on the Net+

- Congrats on the Sec+ pass. There is some crossover plus the question style is the same so you will find it relatively easy. However, as others have said, a lot of the material is different. Good luck.
@JayBlisk
- Congrats on the Network+ pass.
