Finally passed CCNA 640-801

in CCNA & CCENT
I know, not to impressive considering this was my third attempt, but glad I finally passed. This test was much more difficult that I originally expected.
1st attempt 06August score 812 fail
2nd attempt 24 August score 818 fail
3rd attempt 10September score 961 pass
I believe I would have passed it the second time, but I could not remember certain commands during a simulation question so I skipped it. I was running low on time and I did not know what to do. Not a good idea. I paid the price for that one. I hear that sim questions are weighted much heavier than normal questions.
What I did to pass this time:
1. Well, took the exam 3 times LOL. The hard way of learning the areas I was weak in.
2. References: Cisco Academy, Cisco CCNA companion guides 1 and 2, Cybex CCNA study guide. Cisco website.
3. Highly important to me was a GOOD NIGHT SLEEP. First 2 tests I was exhausted from lack of sleep. Not good for me, especially when time was a factor for me during the test.
4. Made sure I did not skip any sim questions. (Went back and studied the commands)
My advice for those that don't quite get this the first time is to just keep trying. You will eventually get it.

I also passed after several tries which was very frustrating but i have no regrets since it made it all sink deeper. On my final attempt i took everything easy and i was like its not a matter of life and death since i was confident enuff i already had the skills and knowledge with or without the cert. Thank God i passed and have recieved my kits. So now after taking a month long break i'm back at it eyeing microsoft certs.

I too passed it in the third attempt
but finally over it for next 3 years
