Just to get the word out that the New Packet tracer 6.0 is out there. Looks like it has the new Cisco 2900 series routers and supports HSRP now. Looks like you will be able to do alot of the CCNP labs now with it. CCNP here I come!
Protocol Improvements:
Packet Tracer now models these new or improved features: HSRP for IPv4 and IPv6, IPv6 DHCP, IPv6 tunnel over IPv4, IPv6 DHCP binding, Send command for routers, ACL sequence numbers.
General Improvements:
Supports current LTS version of Ubuntu and stopped support for Fedora
IOS 15
HWIC-2T and HWIC-8A modules
CAB-HD8-ASYNC cable
IPv6 in IP Configuration under Desktop
Terminal server for routers
PC Firewall for IPv4 and IPv6

If I have version 5.3, I would have to go through Cisco Network Academy to have it update it to 6.0 right? -

Won't let me download the new version, just old version.
I thought as long as I had a netacad login I could get it
