so all looks fine, and from my desk top I can Ping the management ip

But if I try to go to the web GUI it times out?
if I use #Session slot X processor 1 I jsut get the auto configuration script.

Any ideas why I cant get to the web interface, no ACL or firewalls between my PC and the CAT6506.

Cheers

Interestingly if I log on to the core switch (I am installing the 6500 to replace the current core) which the 6500 is hanging off, then I can open an ssh session to the WISM2 management IP.

but although I Can ping the IP from my desk top, I am not able to SSH or get the web page up?

    Oh and am I correct

service port is for communications between the chassis and the WISM
management port is for web and console access?
