Questions like this I don't understand.
Your company needs to subnet their network to allow for 27 subnets while having as many host addresses available as possible. What subnet mask would you use on 172.23.0.0 network to accomplish this?
A: 255.255.248.0
You have subnetted the 192.168.14.0 network into 8 subnets. What is the valid host range of the third subnet?
A: 192.168.14.65-192.168.14.94
How many subnets and hots per subnet can you get from the network 172.16.0.0/18?
A: 4 subnets and 16382
For the most part I understand subnetting. I can find valid ranges and subnet with VLSM, but it's questions like this I'm not sure where to start.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
