Hey Techexam,Recruiter contacted me regarding a job and asked for an updated resume. I updated a bit and would love everyone opinion on my resume. Don't worry I won't get a grudge on anyone if you say it sucks just looking for help lol.

It's probably minor but it's best to put your skills in a past tense e.g. "prepared" instead of "preparing". The grammar of your summary statement is awkward. I would recommend changing to something like "Experienced IT professional with six years of experience performing desktop and server support".

Overall a good resume.

Any more input guys? I wish you could add studying for 70-640..

You're spacing on the first page. Add a space between your titles you already have two pages. Otherwise not bad.

Definitely one of the better resumes seen on TE! I can suggest improvements, see if you like the resultant layout.

- Club Education and Certification together. Don't take it the wrong way, but since you dont have enough certs you shouldn't really have a separate section dedicated to certs. It should look better that way.

- Lose the Skills section or condense it a little bit. Always remember a resume's aim to sell yourself as well as you can. Open a section with your best lines, just like you'd when you are on a date. You want to impress, right?! So, put the knowledge about servers thing before printers/hardware. Get the drift?

- Kind of continuing the above point, doesnt it look like your Skills are kind of out of whack a little? The tenses aren't right either. It's like you brainstormed one night and just jotted down what came to mind. Installing printers doesnt impress me either.

- Have a 2-3 line paragraph just before each role's bullet points that summarizes what you've done and then use the bullet points for highlighting your achievements.

- Once again, in your latest role you have the better stuff last. Stuff about server projects/creating images should come first.

- Have some consistency in the way your resume flows. Your current role has 3 lines for the first bullet point, 2 for the next, 5th and 8th lines. Doesnt flow well. Have 2-3 sentences per bullet point.

Target your resume for the kind of jobs you'll be applying for. The way it is at the moment, it doesnt seem to targeted at anything in particular.
