-
edamas Registered Users Posts: 3 ■□□□□□□□□□Your score was in the top 10 percent of those testing. What does this mean?

CISMIT Member Posts: 5 ■□□□□□□□□□Hi CISMIT, can you provide a bit more detail about your experience in IS Auditing and how much you studied? I am trying to figure out if those with less audit experience in the working field generally have lower scores.
Excellent question .Jaded99. That maybe a factor as do not have much IT Auditing Experience. I've mostly been a developer, IT Specialist, Project gmt and now im an app dev manager. -

paul78 Member Posts: 3,016 ■■■■■■■■■■Congrats to all that passed. It sounds like ISACA now releases a relative ranking of your score as well - must be new. And the next common question is certification proccessing duration That is another 3 - 4 week wait after you submit your applucation.

ciphercodes Member Posts: 21 ■■■□□□□□□□Congratulations to everyone who passed. For those who didn't make it, please don't give up, analyze your scores and focus on weak domains and you will definitely have an advantage in your next attempt.

So close. Dust yourself off and try again in September. Concentrate on your 2 or 3 worst scoring domains and go pass! -

If there are 100 people taking the test, you belong to one of the top 10. It meant exactly what it says. -

Rufio,
Stick with the CRM and Q&A database if you can swing it.
Supplement with the ISACA materials online - COBIT, ValIT, RiskIT, standards, procedures, tools.
One book I'd recommend that I didn't use:
Information Technology Auditing and Assurance 3rd Edition by J. Hall
I started reading the book while waiting for my results and it really did help fill in some gaps in my understanding...more on the business/accounting side than the IT side - but that was (is) my weakest area. -

raybfree Member Posts: 38 ■■□□□□□□□□Your best bet is to simply get the CISA Study Guide by CYBEX and purchase the electronic exam simulator by ISACA. Good luck.
