IT jobs in london

Hey guys, how you all doing?

I have moved back to london after living in Dublin. I basically was in a situation where I had to go now.
I just wanted to ask how the IT job market is in London and the kind of salaries being offered for 1st to 3rd level support engineers and desktop support roles? I am hoping not to be out of work for too long.

There was a thread awhile back if you search. IIRC the consensus was there are plenty of jobs but pay sucks.

cheers dude. i was hoping for 1600 to 2k a month after tax. is that feasible? i have 5 years experience and 7 microsoft certs

Not sure what the tax rate is but from what the thread said that is doable. I believe the average salary was 45k-55k before taxes.
