Zero. You are not expected to have that depth of knowledge. It's an entry-level networking certification and the Odom or Lammle books contain all the information you need to ace the exam besides practice.

How about RFC1918?
You don't need to know any of the verbiage, but know the private IP ranges. -

I forgot about RFC 1149! Absolutely. Essential. Reading. For. CCNAs. Expect at least 3-4 exam questions on that.I would memorize the contents of the RFC 1149.
