Dont compare what we've seen so far of the Xbox One to steam.

Honestly i love steam! i have so many games i have purchased online for dirt cheap, there sales are ridiculous! I would rather buy the steam piston hardware than xbox. Then again the steam console is $1000

So i am sticking with the PS4 for now.

Steam is the reason why PC gaming in my opinion is cheaper than console gaming.

I don't play too many console games, so I'm only going to get one this generation. And Sony has become the compelling choice in light of Microsoft terrible PR and extreme policies.

Honestly, I think Xbox has the "better" exclusives at the moment (thanks to them acquiring/buying 3rd-party exclusives).

I'm definitely going to split between PC and PS4.

Since the PS4 is out now and I didn't see any new threads about it I thought I would try to revive this one. Did anyone happen to get a PS4 with the BLOD issue?

Honestly haven't picked one up yet, waiting for a few releases before I invest. I am really geeked about Clancy's game coming up NEXT December and the original developer lead for SOCOM 1 and 2, coming out with H - Hour next year as well. Both of those games are going to be AMAZING. Clancy's game is a beautiful 3rd person tactical MMO. Check it out on YouTube. With that said my buddy picked up one and it has been rock solid so far.

Not IMO. I don't think i've ever paid $60 for a pc game, maybe for SWTOR, but I got all the fancy stuff.

Yeah, only after the massive outcry. The truth is there was aa buildup of negativity and they ignored it until they couldn't anymore, thats why I will not support your product. Its not about people not wanting change, its about companies trying to force negative change. Finally,

Its my opinion that stuff like this is what allows these changes to move forward. They know they can make a small accession and people will flock back. Don't wory, they will rebrand these changes and either sneak them in or try again with the next system.

I got my PS4 launch day and have had no issues aside from some network connectivity issues launch day but that's been fixed. I never get faulty gaming hardware I never got the RROD on my Xbox 360. I'm getting my Xbox One on Friday but I'm a gaming collector so I have to own them all!!

Got my PS4 day1, been enjoying it since. Killzone SF looks mindblowing and BF4 looks as good as the PC version.

I cancelled my pre-order from before because I find myself gaming more on my PC and it's getting harder to be able to play on the TV downstairs for any decent amount of time.

I was tempted to trade in my old system to Best Buy for a gift card but I have games that I still like to play so I need to keep the PS3 and Xbox 360 for some time.

I traded in my PS3, XBOX, Games and accessories for credit towards the PS4 at Gamestop. Now I have to hurry up and wait until GS gets more units back in stock. I forgot to pre-order, but I thought that SONY was going to produce a lot more units so there wouldn't be a big delay after launch, maybe I was wrong.

It shouldn't be too bad most of my friends were able to find units days after the launch. So I think you won't need to wait too long.
