ICND2 Scheduled on June 20th

Well, I made a huge mistake.... and scheduled to take the old ICND2 on June 20th. Don't get me wrong, I feel ready. So now that it's scheduled, it's time to study!

So far I'm going back over ACLs, IPv6, and Frame Relay. Figure I'll blow away my current CCNA lab setup and start from scratch to reinforce the commands and troubleshooting.

Any advice for the week before the CCNA R+S? I can give updates if anyone is interested.

Well.... I PASSED!

I spent most of the last week reviewing my notes, watching CCNA videos and doing labs with physical equipment and in GNS3. I used both Odom and Lammle study guides in my prep - however I took most of my notes from Odom. I was planning to take a small break from certs - however now I'm pumped to start studying for the next one. Trying to decide between LPIC-1\Linux+, CCNA Security or start looking over CCNP R+S.

@Ltat24a - 870ish. Not the best score I got on a exam, but I'll take it. I was somewhat glad that Cisco makes the test so you can only go forward since I wanted to change some of my responses after I clicked next...

@sigsoldier - I found it to be a fair test. Difficulty is about the same when you consider the amount of content that CCNA covers with configurations like EIGRP/OSPF.

@Dakinggamer87 - I was really leaning towards Linux+ since I use it at home for a few years with my Linux laptop etc. However, I haven't really started reading though any of the materials and I've already started on CCNA security (about half way in the first read through). Since my goal is IT security, I figure I'll end up doing both exams, so order doesn't matter as much. I started reading the CCNA security book to help me better understand ACLs and NAT/PAT before taking the CCNA R+S. (I actually got this idea from other members of the forum.)

@All - Thanks, it's been quite a ride. I started re-studying for CCENT\CCNA around March after a year or so break from looking at the material. Passed CCENT in April and now passed CCNA in June. So happy to have this one done!
