Basically, Distance Vector routing protocols use all kinds of mechanisms to prevent routing loops (Split Horizon, Poison Reverse, etc...) Link State Protocols don't require all these mechanisms to prevent routing loops. So, D is correct. But, C would also be correct since the specific way in which Split Horizon works is to not advertise routes back out the interface from which they were received, except in the case of route poisoning [when Split Horizon is intentionally suspended.]R&S: CCENT → CCNA → CCNP → CCIE [ ]
