Passed my 220-702 Today. Now what?
I passed my 220-701 last week, with a score of 695. I passed my 220-702 with a score of 700 today! I dont think my scores are that great, but I am glad I passed.
I took a class at my local college to prep for my A+, bought the "complete guide to A+, seventh edition" (Mike Mayers) book, and watched free professor messer videos.
Also, an A+ **** sheet I downloaded off of here, helped me a lot!
I think the 220-702 was a little hard then the 701, but a lot of the questions were exactly the same or similar.
My Question is, how do I receive my certification now? Do I contact comptia? will they mail it to me?
my 2nd Question is, what exactly is ther certification? Is it a card that goes in your wallet? and/or a certification, like a hs deploma?

CompTIA will give you instructions in the email address you provided. I'm not sure what they're doing now, but I did receive both a card I could put in my wallet and a certificate that could be framed. You can also provide a link to others (such as prospective employers) that they can use to verify your certification. -

If this is your first certification, you'll be quietly delighted when you receive the small bundle from CompTIA in the mail. Viewing the exam results immediately after the test is gratifying, but holding something tangible is something that inspires you. Continue to learn. -

I liked the old full-sized certificates. I think the ones they send now are the size of a half a sheet of paper.
What's next for you? Network+? -
ryanw4130 Member Posts: 18 ■□□□□□□□□□Thank you everyone. I was hoping it would be both. Having something in your wallet is nice, you can prove you have the cert just by taking it out your wallet. I know A+ is not the biggest deal, but im working on an AS degree in computer networking right now also.
@Sharkdiver: Yes I want to get my Network + and Security. I see all the certs that you have. You have a lot! Im sure you made a great career for yourself. So I will ask you, Do you think those 2 certs would be the most valueble ones to go for? If so what do you think I shoud go for after net + and security +?
basicly, what do you think companys are looking for now days, and why?
