user not auto locking in domain

I have a user in our network we use Server 2008 R2. we have a GPO set for auto lock.
the user is still not being auto locked after the set GPO time.

any suggestions?

    My first guess is perhaps the policy isn't assigned to the proper container that the user is in. If it's a recent change, have you done a gpupdate /force in the command line and then reboot? Finally, did you confirm that the user's screen saver setting matches the timeout?

    Do you see any GroupPolicy event log errors? Any trust-type errors? What OS is the non-working machine running?

    Maybe try Resultant Set of Policy to see exactly which policies are supposed to be applied to that device?
