General Network+ Questions to do with recertification.

I earned my Comptia A+ early this year in Jan. I am now intending to study for the Network+. Once I pass this, does it automatically extend the expiry of my A+? Also I heard when it comes to re-certify all you have to do is recertify in the highest qualification and it will apply to all Comptia quals you have... is this true?

FYI, passing Microsoft or Cisco exams will also renew A+ or Network+.

Say i have A+ N+ sec+ certs and they all due to expire the following year and i decide to write any higher exam like Microsoft or Cisco are they all going to be upgraded and have the same expiry date of the recent higher exam?
