DOD SECURITY STANDARDS

I am currently reading Network+ Study Guide, Fourth Edition (N10-003).

I am on chapter 8 and it's talking about DOD Secuirty Standards.
My question is this.. I am looking at my Comptia Neowrk Plus objectives and no where that I can find does it show they are asking about these security standards, Yet they are in the book. Am I missing something here ?

I have to admit I really am enjoying reading this book. I have the old Cramsession 2 book from the old objectives and it is o'k but David Groth and Toby Skandier's network plus book is very good

Anyway let me know. :

I took the exam like 2 months ago, and I didn't see anything about DOD on it, but with COMPTIA, ya just never know.
