Urgent Help Needed - World Class Definition

Dears,

I do not know if here is the proper place to ask this question. therefore please help me.

I am in urgent need of your help. My Manager has asked me to prepare a few page slide and asked me the following questions. I do not have any clue as to where to search for the required information.

please help me.

the request is as follows :

1- FIND OUT WORLD CLASS definition for your area (my job is desktop support)
2- find the gap vs WORLD CLASS
3- recommend action with cost & time

I would be really thankful if you could give me clues as to where to look for these information.

Context: "World Class" is their new buzzword after reading a book on management
Action: Tell him I'm too busy doing actual work for this.

Context: He must spend $25,000 by the end of the quarter
Action: Come up with a compelling wish list

Context: Performance review
Action: Suggest candid ways I could improve

Context: Preparing for a buy-out
Action: Hire a consultant who knows what is expected.
