Practice Tests for MCITP:SA /MCSA

What is the current recommendation for practice tests for 640, 642, and 646?
I don't typically go the route of purchasing practice exams, but I am dragging on wrapping up my exam prep, and need to move on. So in this case, given the increased difficulty of the 2008 tests compared to 2003, and the reduced day-to-day exposure I have as of late, I'm willing to invest a little more in my prep to save myself an expensive exam retake.
Thanks in advance.

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

MeatCatalogue Member Posts: 145Interesting to hear that 2003 exams were easy. I never took one, 70-640 exam was my first exposure to microsoft, about 3 years ago and at the time it was by far the most difficult IT exam I had taken. The 70-643 is the most difficult in my opinion but you wont need that if just getting the MCSA.
I personally recommend transcender but you should look for all practice exams. Do at least 400 questions before sitting. MS is tricky. -

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say they were "easy", but it seems like more people are reporting back repeated failures compared to 2003. I wasn't that far removed from completing the Windows 2000 track, and 2003 was not that much different, so maybe it just seemed easier to me than it really was.IT guy since 12/00

So I can watch the CBT modules that correspond to my weaker areas, and have access to several practice tests for each exam.
I'm finally picking this back up, I'm making a big push to get my MCSA 2008 tests finally knocked out, then the MCSA 2012, and if I have time, I'll do the remaining requirements for the 2008 MCITP:EA.
Then I'll be done with Microsoft for a long time unless I wind up needing to pick up Hyper-V.IT guy since 12/00
