Took two attempts (missed out first time by just under 30 points). This time passed just over a week later 
Cisco Press cert guide (with DVD included), CIPC, CBT Nuggets, CUCM v8.0 on AMD VMWare PC, GNS3 and Packet Tracer 4 as well as googling of course! No hardware to speak of bar the virtual CUCM and don't use it currently (Avaya possibly...) but nice to learn about it and refresh current certs.
Tough road and found the variety challenging as not really sure how deep to go in any subject. The lack of a CUC or CUE hands-on didn't help and the cert guide covers most of topics but not enough in my opinion.
Nice to get over with. May even start on ROUTE as I have the Foundation Learning Guide by Diane Teare...
