Working on a practice test for Part's I, II, and III and my brains swarming with numbers. Could use a quick kick start on this question:
Using classful network 191.16.0.0
Network 1 uses a /19 mask and the first subnet ID.
Network 2 uses a /19 mask and the second subnet ID.
etc... to Network 5.
The mask is 255.255.224.0
The network id is 191.16.0.0 right?
So, the first usable IP of network 1 would be 191.16.0.1 or 191.16.32.1?
Network 5 first usable ip would be 191.16.160.1?
Network 5 would be in the 191.16.159.1 - 254 range right...I forgot to subtract one.

SharkDiver Member Posts: 844Going on the info you've given, it looks to me that your networks would be as follows:
Network 1 - 191.16.0.0 - Usable IPs - 191.16.0.1 to 191.16.31.254
Network 2 - 191.16.32.0 - Usable IPs - 191.16.32.1 to 191.16.63.254
Network 3 - 191.16.64.0 - Usable IPs - 191.16.64.1 to 191.16.95.254
Network 4 - 191.16.96.0 - Usable IPs - 191.16.96.1 to 191.16.127.254
Network 5 - 191.16.128.0 - Usable IPs - 191.16.128.1 to 191.16.159.254
Unless I'm missing something, of course. -
