How far into the Tom Lammle's book should I study to pass ICND1? And will this book be suffient for the new exam coming this Sept.?

You will need to study the whole book in order to pass ICND1. His current book will cover only the current exam objectives. Haven't seen or heard when his new book is coming out. -
