On the Citrix Training site, there is a link to a free 2 hour Intro to XD7 course.

Also on the Citrix Training site, you should be able to find the course outline that maps to the exam. Use it and the eDocs to build a PDF that covers everything.

xenapptraining.com has a couple of free xd7 modules or a whole boot camp series.

It seems like a lot of free certifications have been offered recently. Starting with MS HTML CSS3, then Brocade, this and a few others. I think taking advantage of a few of these is a smart idea.

Ah you beat me to it. I just rescheduled my exams and signed up for the xenapp training. Lets see how this goes !

Ended up cancelling mine. On vacation one week and no dates available around when I want to take it.

Took 1Y1-300 yesterday and taking 1Y1-200 on Monday.

How was the exam ?

How many questions and what was the level of difficulty on the 300 exam ?

Just as stated in the prep guide (http://training.citrix.com/pluginfile.php/126469/mod_resource/content/1/300%20Prep%20Guide_Beta%20Exam.pdf) there were 138 questions and 3 and 1/2 hours to complete. The questions set seemed about right for the level. Also as the prep guide says, everything is covered. Based on an email I got today, Citrix is only allowing 125 people to test on 1Y1-200, so not sure if that also applies to the other 2 exams as well. As I see it, if I don't pass it, at least a got a free look at it to prep when they are released. I also suspect these tests will be in the $300 range per take vs. the $150, but that's my 2 cents.

Hello All, I am new in the forum, I registered to beta exams from Citrix. I would like to know how was your experience so far who took the exam? Anyone passed or failed ? what was the most difficult point ? with kind regards. Dude.

I did the 1y1-200 exam and 1y1-300 exam. It was my first beta exam and I found the exams very long. I am hoping that they release a raw mark eg 80/161 so I can see if I passed or not (eg 50% isn't looking good, but 70% would make me happy). Apparently it will take 6-8 weeks for the results to be finalized. I am also interested to know how many people took each test.

Has anyone else got anything from Citrix yet?
