Question regarding Routers and Mac Addresses

Is it safe to assume during the CCNA test that if the interface is a serial interface that the Router will change it to just a serial layer two encapsulation and not insert its Mac Address?

It's safe to assume the behavior on the real exam will more or less mimic the behavior you see on real routers, GNS3, Packet Tracer, or NetSim. I would say more, but your question is somewhat incoherent (not insert which MAC address where?).

Sorry ADD kicked. I was referring to Source and Destination addresses. Meaning that the RouterA sending to B over a serial link would not use the Mac Addresses.
