2 questions in network+ study

1, Do we need to memorize all the port numbers for common protocols?

2, Do we need to memorize in detail regarding TCP/IP headers of datagram? cuz it's too many stuffs about them.

    yeah you have to know the port

    just take the port practive exam on this test and will prepare you.
    and know the osi model with good detail

    if your having any problems with the well know ports its also a good idea to make some question cards and you can test yourself whenever, or get someone to help you.

    know the main ports:mainly FTP, DHCP, DNS, and simple ones, but not anything on the packets.

    1) Yes, you have to remember the common ports. (E.g. HTTP, FTP, SSL)

    2) No, you don't have to worry about the details with TCP/IP. It's not on the exam.
