to add your linked in profile on your resume? What do you guys/girls think?

    I don't think it is good or bad really. When I read resumes I usually look the person up on LinkedIn anyway.

    I wouldn't go any farther than that and add any kind of other social media stuff though.

    If your linkedin profile is 100% polished and bullet proof, then neutral. Otherwise, definately not.

    Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
    Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

    This is what I assume most recruiters and employers do so I don't think it matters.

    You often times get to see interviewers checking out your profile and then can get to know more about them first. Also it lets them know that you're able to make professional connections and come well recommended.

    If I have the space I'll definitely put it on but there are far more important aspects to my resume.

    It's not on mine. But generally if I see a resume I immediately hit LinkedIn anyway to check them out so I assume people that actually hire people on a daily basis probably do this as well along with Facebook, Twitter, etc. All the more reason to cheap your social life in check.

    I know my LinkedIn lists positions not on my resume. Which is why I include the link.
    My LinkedIn is more like a longer, more verbose version of my resume.
    Goals for 2018:
