CEH v7 Book Question

My question is basically regarding CEH version 7. I have the book by Matt Walker however; I brought the book for April 9, 2013. Does it matter whether or not the year on the book? Hopefully this makes sense.

It looks like there is only one edition of Walker's CEH book (1st ed, 2011): McGraw-Hill: CEH Certified Ethical Hacker All-in-One Exam Guide : Book

Good book, just look out for the typos. You will find them throughout the book. Also, watch out for some of the practice questions: some of the answers are wrong.
