Given that Technet is being shutdown and some articles are due to be deleted (SQL 2000 March 2014 for example), it might be worth downloading what you need 
Not sure if this has been posted already, but this old tool enables you to download the lot (you can select what you want) and export it to help files for example

I can't get the MSDN library to dl/convert. And the technet *windows server* part turns red and doesn't work.
If you have all the files ready made.. could you please send them to me??

Only noticed it myself - the main download link is an old buggy version, more recent version can be found in the repository
