Question:
I have a Godaddy domain that i bought so I could practice exchange
if i point the "@" to my dns on my server (external IP) at home do I just need to make changes on my dns server?

You need to change the name servers @ Go Daddy to point to your public IP address where your DNS server is located. Also, make sure the correct ports are open on the firewall.Dustin Leefers -

i understand that, but once i change the main dns ip address, everything underneath it will be affected by my windows server?
