Silly question, nevertheless I am unsure. So, I will ask anyways.

Asif Dasl Member Posts: 2,116 ■■■■■■■■□□It's unlikely, the old XP test changed dramatically when SP2 was released (cause it was a big update) so I would imagine the Windows 8 test will change too once it is released. I've tried 8.1 and it's still very similar to RTM so I don't think it will trip anybody up on the test too much. CBT Nuggets might do an update though like when R2 came out for Server 2008.

srabiee Member Posts: 1,231 ■■■■■■■■□□Microsoft is simply updating the questions on the exams to reflect the upcoming changes in Windows 8.1. The exam numbers are staying the same, as are the certification titles. Nothing changes for those that are already Windows 8 certified.
In other words there isn't going to be an "MCSA: Windows 8.1" certification. It's simply the test questions that are changing, which only affects those that sit for the exams after the new test questions are released.

alokin123 Member Posts: 268i just got an email from Microsoft about updates to the MCSA exams (410,411 & 412)
They are in survey/feedback mode which means they are surveying the community about topics to include on the updated exams.
Considering 8.1 will be RTM potentially next month with a final release October/November I wouldn't be surprised if the exams are updated by years end if not earlier. I wish I could get some motivation and do the upgrade exams sooner rather than later. -
Asif Dasl Member Posts: 2,116 ■■■■■■■■□□AFAIK the Exam Ref 70-411 & Exam-Ref 70-412 will include R2 updates but not the Exam Ref 70-410 book cause it's already out.
