Question, can i use the Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Inside Out book to pass the MCSA 2012 track?
The book is well written and easy to understand.

Asif Dasl Member Posts: 2,116 ■■■■■■■■□□This is something I would like to know also, has anyone passed using it instead of the Exam Ref. & Training Guide books? It's almost 1600 pages but does it cover everything on the MCSA exams? But not the remaining MCSE exams?

Prophet178 Registered Users Posts: 1 ■□□□□□□□□□I read Sever 2012 Inside Out cover to cover and it was an excellent reference for the 70-410 and parts of 70-411. It does not cover some of the more advanced topics of 70-411 and 70-412 such as Direct Access, NPS, NAP, RRAS, AD FS, AD CS, AD RMS and failover clustering.
Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and use it as my main reference whenever possible. It is much better written and more comprehensive than the Microsoft Training Guides and Exam Refs I also have. -

ITMonkey Member Posts: 200I purchased this Inside-Out book too, and use it to supplement the two 410 books published by Microsoft Press. I find myself spending more time in TechNet because more technical depth of the new Server 2012 features can be found there. Nevertheless, the Inside-Out book is a "keeper" -- especially, I think, for someone new to working with Windows Servers.
