WGU vs Local University?

I'm about to graduate with my B.S. in IT and I plan on doing my masters in IT while i'm still young. On the boards here i've discovered WGU, It looks like a good rigorous university to get a degree from.
How would that compare to a normal in class university when it comes time to getting a job? I figure something local to me such FAU (Florida Atlantic University) would be something more familiar to companies in my area.
Do employers see a degree from a traditional university as more prestigious than an online only one?
If i'm not pressed for money or a flexible schedule which should i choose?

I figure that it might be more respected (at least in my area) rather than going to WGU. Can anyone elaborate on this?
