NAT and CCNA

Hi.

I have a question regarding NAT.

I’ve been reading Sybex CCNA 4th edition to prepare for my CCNA.
In this book there isn’t any topics covering NAT.

Will the CCNA exam have questions or SIMs about configuring NAT on a router?

Thanks in advance

its a testable topic, so I would recommend filling in the gaps using www.cisco.com/univercd

Otherwise buy the 5th edition of that book.

    Yup,

know NAT, PAT, OVERLOAD, ETC.... and understand it well !!

For troubleshooting type questions, be sure on how to disect the results of the command: show ip nat translation

There is lot's of resources on the net.

I just took the 811 test last Thursday and had several questions regarding NAT. As already mentioned, NAT is definitely something you want to learrn. I have the 5th edtion Sybex and NAT is barely covered. Odom's ICND Cisco Press book really helped me to understand and configure NAT.
