Server 2008 (exchange) box can't connect to LDAP
gbdavidx
So I believe this is more of a windows server issue then exchange
I have an exchange edge server with Active Directory Lightweight Service (LDAP) thats in a DMZ and Exchange Server box in my domain
I am able to an nslookup and resolve the name from edge (dmbz) to exchange (server environment), but exchange cannot connect to my ldap
There are no firewalls turned on since this is a lab environment, I have created a subscription to my exchange 2010, what else can i do for them to connect?

on the exchange machine i can connect via ldap.exe and it says established connection to 192.168.1... retrieving base DSA information....
Getting 1 entries:
DN: (ROOSDSE) and then it spits a bunch of information out, however my exchange doesn't seem to want to connect

figured out it was an issue with my dns suffix, eventually had to reformat, but the synchronization works
