Redistribute Question

Hi,

Could someone explain the difference between 'redistribute static' and 'redistribute static subnets'? I dont know if this is the right subforum for this topic.

This is used when redistributing into OSPF. Without the "subnets" keywork, only classful networks will be redistributed.

EDIT: Just dug out the command reference...

When routes are redistributed into OSPF, only routes that are not subnetted are redistributed if the subnets keyword is not specified.

This is for OSPF I assume? If you do not include the 'subnets' keyword it will only redistribute calssful routes.

I'm getting slow!
