From Cisco NetAcademy material: Ensure that all switches are configured to use the same VTP protocol version. VTP version 1 is not compatible with VTP version 2.
But I see it on my home lab that VTP version 1 can talk to version 2. As show below. So does VTP version 1 and version 2 talk to each other?

Common mistake, don't get sucked in to what the VTP Version number says - that is just what it is capable of.Current objective: CCNA Security
