Assistance with preparing for CCENT certification

Hello all...do you all have any suggestions on studying for the CCENT cert. I will probably being taken the exam after Sept this year which includes 100-101 ICND1. I know I am going to get various but good answers...lol. Thank you in advance.

There are two textbooks out so far: Wendell Odom, and Todd Lammle - both are well-known authors of solid repute.

Jeremy Ciaora of CBTNuggets usually does a good job of explaining the material for Cisco exams but the price tag at $99 a month might be steep. I haven't seen any new material from Trainsignal or INE as yet.

Of course you need either real equipment, a simulator or an emulator to practice IOS commands: E-bay, Packet Tracer and GNS3 are your best friends.

I usually do the $25/day deal. Great for a quick one-day review before the exam.

I second all the materials IvanJam suggested. The book and hands-on should be the core of your study.
