I bought the Exam Cram Lab Manual and it is the first one I have seen thus far stick with the test objectives and are interesting to do.

This site: www.geeks.com, has a Genica kit with 300 ft of cable with a crimper and connectors for $20 but I am not sure how reputable they are as I have never heard of genica or this site.
