70-410 Exam: Can 1 Week Self Study do?

Hi,

I wonder if this is achievable? How difficult is the 410 exam?

Appreciate your advise.

Have you:

- Worked with servers for a significant period of time?
- Worked with 2012 at all?
- Got any prior MS server certifications?

If you answer No to any one of the above, 1 week may not be enough. I dont think I'd pass the 410 either in one week, 10 days of dedicated studying might get me over the line. Besides what's the rush with passing in 1 week?

The 70-410 is not an easy exam. There is a lot of material covered and I can't see how it can all be learned to the level needed for the exam in one week. This, of course, depends greatly on your level of familiarity with Server 2012.

Honestly I am a starter and do not have any experience on Windows Server. I understand that this may be tough.

Do you think a month will do so?

Welcome to TE Acperwin!

Pace yourself, there is a lot of material to learn. 70-410 has 110 objectives alone! A month an exam with a little time off between each exam will mean you won't burn out and put off finishing the exams once you get started.

I think a month is a good goal. I recently completed this exam with a month of study and I felt very well prepared while taking the exam.
