I was hoping some people on the TE site might be able to guide me as to which practice exams would be best for preparing for the MCSA Win 7 certification?
Pearson? Boson? Kaplan? Another?
I've got the MS Press books for both exams but will require practice questions to supplement my study.

Asif Dasl Member Posts: 2,116 ■■■■■■■■□□I would recommend SelfTest/Transcender, I've used them for exams in the past and it made the exams much easier as a result. When I didn't use them I've failed a few times. But YMMV.

MCITBound Member Posts: 65 ■■□□□□□□□□I used Transcender for my practice questions. They are really in-depth and you can read why an answer is or isn't correct. A very good learning tool.If I gave good advice or was insightful, please add to my reputation!! If you have a LinkedIn account and want a new connection, feel free to add me! If you have any questions, ask!

ITMonkey Member Posts: 200Trainsignal provides practice tests AND an extensive library of IT self-study videos for a monthly subscription price of $49. They have a free unlimited use 3-day trial, I believe. I have only used three of the practice tests; the provide answers why answers are either correct or incorrect. And I found that all three tests did not regurgitate what was taught in the videos. Each video series seems to have between 15-30 videos, averaging between 20 - 60 minutes each. The technical depth varied depending on the author.
I frequently see replies from senior members mentioning they use both CBT Nuggets videos together with Transender practice tests for their self-study. I'm waiting until I see a limited time trial for either or both. In the meantime I'll continue using Sybex and MSFT Press books, MSFT online TechNet articles and wiki's, etc, and lots and lots of self-labbing.
