An Excellent documentary on Steve Jobs and Apple

Recently, I've got really interested to learn more about Jobs and below is an excellent documentary by BBC that I want to share.

I would say he's one of the very few people by whose death I have been very much moved. RIP Steve!

Yeah that was good summary of his life in an hour. I just looked at Jobs on IMDB and it gets 6.0 whereas Pirates Of Silicon Valley gets 7.1 - If they don't re-use the "Are you a virgin?" line I'll be very disappointed!

On the plus side for Apple they have incresed their OS share from 5% to almost 10% in 5 years - which isn't bad going.

Haven't watched it yet, but does it talk about how he ripped off Xerox?

It gives it about 2-3 minutes but Xerox got Apple stock options for allowing them to view their inventions.. something which rarely gets mentioned.

It mentions about Xerox, but also mentions about Bill Gates/Microsoft ripped off Apple !

I really enjoyed Pirates of Silicon Valley. Something about Kutchner playing Jobs just thoroughly turns me off.

I have Pirates of Silicon Valley on DVD. It's a really good movie.
I bought the book "Jobs" when it came out, but haven't had time to read it. (Always studying something)
I will probably see the new movie when it comes out.

I really liked "Pirates" for me that was my "golden age" of computing even though I was a kid back then. I almost wish there was a movie about the .Com boom.

You lost me at Ashton

You know that even if he makes an amazing role/acting at the movie, this only means that someone else could have probably won several oscar

Won't quite say that having Kutchner in it will stop me from seeing it, but I was very surprised that he was chosen and green-lighted for the role. I have read and heard good reviews about the film, so I may see it at a matinee, or once the buzz dies down.
