Free Suit to Eligible Veterans

I suggest eligible veterans check out this promotion for those in need of a new suit to help with job opportunities:
JoS. A. Bank Clothiers
I can verify this is legit and they have already started mailing out vouchers to eligible veterans. I'm not sure however how many vouchers remain.

I inquired on this, and its also for all recently separated veterans, not just active or retired.
While the verbiage for recently separated is technically within 3 years, I can also verify veterans were considered eligible when getting off active duty almost 10 years ago. Not sure if that was intended or not. But the program is for veteran job seekers, in need of a new suit. I doubt they would deny any veteran with proof of service (pending vouchers are remaining).WGU BSITStart Date: July 1, 2013

gunbunnysoulja Member Posts: 353I would expect an e-mail back from them within 48 hours or so. I know they are very busy. They provided this generic message to recipients:
Due to an extremely high volume of incoming email for our joint promotion, “Uniform of Success” with Jos. A. Bank, response times may be delayed.
The Gary Sinise Foundation is dedicated to reading each email and responding accordingly; however, we are unable to address you all as quickly as we’d like. We thank you for your patience during this busy time. Rest assured that we will contact you as we move forward through correspondence.
If you are emailing regarding the promotion, please be sure you have submitted a DD-214 (retired), a Statement of Service (active), and a copy of your photo identification (do not submit copies of your military ID). In addition, we will need your current mailing address.
Also, please limit email submissions until you have heard from a GSF Team Member as this will allow for a faster response time.
Your pals,

colemic Member Posts: 1,569 ■■■■■■■□□□Just remembered this. I sent the request in last August (2013) and didn't get a response until March 2014, that the promotion had been completed. And yes, they add your info to their db, and they will contact you in order of submission for subsequent promotions (although I haven't heard of any others.)
Did anyone on TE actually get the voucher?Working on: staying alive and staying employed
