Need help from fellow WGU IT students...

I'm not a programmer... far from it. I took the preassessement for the new software development exam and I got so frustrated I almost threw my computer through the window. I'm a straight networking guy, nothing fancy whatsoever. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to tackle these programming classes

any advice on what to do?

what degree plan do you take? Because I'm taking the network administration degree plan and the only thing that came close to programming was the Microsoft web development cert.

Security emphasis. I'm not a fan of the whole programming portion at all, especially considering it's not something I do for as part of my job.

OH NO.... I'm doing the same security emphasis. I was hoping the programming would be fairly simple. I also hate programming....

Yes, which course are you having trouble with? I'm on the Software Development emphasis.

I went with the Network Design & Management track and luckily I don't have to deal with those classes. I switched over from the general IT track for that reason.

Not to laugh at you and your misery but I was about to take the IT with Security emphasis and I think I am going to have to change to Network Design and Management. I might end up liking programming but I have an idea someone would have to actually teach it to me... or I would have to teach myself while actually coding... No time for that...
