Which is the better version to use, win32 or unix. Which one is used more in industry, and which one should i practice with.

win32 or unix

Linux. Most windows webservers run IIS, most webservers run Linux+Apache.

As a matter of fact, PHLAK maybe a little to hardcore. Mandrake is good for newbies, very GUI. No offense. I'm a newbie myself.
