darkerz - thanks for that post, although it's not a position that I am ready for yet. I wish there was a section of TE where members could post jobs anonymously, i.e., their member info would not be displayed although membership and a minimum number of posts would be required to create job postings, and possibly to view posts.

darkerz in your company does age matter? The reason why I am saying this is I am young and being working as a network engineer for a couple of years in your post previously you said that your job turned south because of your age and now you do support for users instead of project work.

We have a completely re-vamped, re-done management for our group and it's very different. After taking advice from Sr. members on Techexams, I took a bit of a risky career "move" and it was received very openly by our Directors and shifts were made.

That's good mate you standed up to your managers so there is no more age discrimination there and you are not doing helpdesk work and now your doing project work

Most people are looking to get out of that type of work by the time they hit the senior level.
