Dear all,
after being unemployed for roughly 6 months now I just got hired
Although it's only a 3 month contract (with an option on extension) the job seems to be pretty cool:
Solaris Admin at a huge consulting company.
The most interesting thing is that they hired me on the spot (no interview!) and the job will be in my hometown which I left almost two years ago for a job. I'm already starting next wednesday.
I'm really looking forward to this and if it wouldn't be 3 p.m. I would open a beer to celebrate
Bottom line, things come to those who wait and probably when you least expect it (I have just been refused from a company after going through THREE interviews with them).

Congratulations. If there is anything that deserves a celebration this must be it. I think its time to get some good champaigne

Thanks. I applied at a time-work agency and they where looking for a Senior Solaris Admin for a huge consulting company.
With Solaris being kind of a niche I think my Solaris Cert greatly improved my chances Working on CCNP: [X] SWITCH --- [ ] ROUTE --- [ ] TSHOOT
