After September 30th, what if...? issue

What if I take and pass the ICND I tess this month, but either fail the ICND 2 test or am not ready to take it before September 30th? Now it's August and the new CCNA tests are here. Will the new 200-101 go with the 640-822, or will I have to retake the first test as the new one?

I will be taking my ICND1 old early next month. After which we can take the new ICND2 to be CCNA certified.
