I'm actually taking the DCA tomorrow at 11:30am. Still not 100% ready but for 75% off I'm willing to take a chance. If it was full price, $400, I wouldn't risk it.

You'll fly through it mate. It's a test of how quickly you can do things. Just keep a running tally of what you've done, keep marking them off and you'll be just fine. It's all about time management. Good luck!!

You can use this voucher on the vcap-dcd exam. If you want to take a stab at it or just see where you are. Half price is not that bad.

Yep I saw the DCD was listed above, I had a 100% discount voucher from a VMware workshop I attended so that pays for my second attempt at it.

This happens every year - these codes are issued only to those who register to attend VMWorld, then they get posted online...

You need to have already taken a VMware class as prerequisite before taking the VCP exam now. After you have completed the class you sign into vmware.com/certification and sign up for the exam. You will be given a candidate id that you use on pearsonvue.com to schedule the exam. At check out is where you use the discount code.

I was going more mentally. We just had our baby girl so sleep and concentration is lacking. I'm amazed I'm able to work. But there is a ton of stuff online that's for sure to help.

Download the "unofficial official vcap5-dca study guide". It is free I have found it to be a great resource in addition to the docs from VMware.
