I'm familiar with the link above thanks but that's why I posted the question because it didn't mention RSTP and Odom's book CCNA ICND
goes over this topic. Has anyone encountered specifically questions on RSTP technology on exam 640-811?

Not in my recent exam. Some books go a little beyond the scope of the CCNA objectives.
