CCNP Exam Change

hey they i just passed my CCNA today with a score of 854 on my second attepm, im looking to start the CCNP track but i see the CCNA exam will be changing this month end, im wondering if anyone here would know if they plan to change the CCNP exams as well anytime soon to know if i can start preparing for the current CCNP or wait until the exam changes

    I haven't heard any news about the exams changing. Regardless the main technologies and protocols will remain the same so learning will not be wasted.

    Only Cisco knows for certain, but I don't forsee any need to change the CCNP in the near future. Even when they do change an exam, they typically allow enough time for those already mid-way through to finish up.

    I doubt it. Maybe a couple years down the road. The CCNP was updated only a few years ago (2010?) whereas the CCNA hadn't been updated since 2007 I believe.

    AFAIK, it's already been changed in 2010 and no announcement regarding any change in the format has been announced by Cisco.

    The only change I'd expect is for them to rename it to CCNP Routing and Switching. Wonder if they'll wait until the exams are refreshed to do that.
